Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose of the Policy

Omnika is designed to help ecommerce merchants operate their businesses efficiently through marketplace integrations, analytics, and operational insights.

To ensure the platform remains secure, reliable, and available to all users, certain activities are prohibited.

MGV reserves the right to investigate, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this Policy.

2. Lawful Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Services only for lawful and legitimate business purposes.

You must not use the platform in any way that:

• violates applicable laws or regulations
• infringes the rights of others
• interferes with the operation of the platform
  compromises system security.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of Omnika complies with all applicable laws in the jurisdictions where they operate, including those relating to:

• ecommerce
• consumer protection
• data privacy
• intellectual property.
  

3. Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in any of the following activities when using Omnika.

3.1 Platform Misuse

You must not:

• use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activities
• impersonate another person, company, or entity
  misrepresent your identity or business affiliation
• use the platform to conduct scams or fraudulent marketplace transactions.
  

3.2 Security Violations

You may not attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the platform.

Prohibited actions include:

• attempting to gain unauthorized access to Omnika systems
• hacking, probing, or scanning platform infrastructure
  
• bypassing authentication systems or security measures
• exploiting software vulnerabilities.
  

You must not attempt to obtain passwords, API credentials, or confidential data belonging to other users.

3.3 Disruption of Service

You may not interfere with the normal functioning of the platform.

This includes:

• launching denial-of-service attacks
• overloading system infrastructure
• running scripts or automated processes that disrupt platform performance
• interfering with other users’ ability to access the service.
  

Users must not intentionally degrade the reliability or performance of the platform.

3.4 Unauthorized Data Access or Scraping

You must not extract data from the platform without authorization.

Prohibited activities include:

• scraping or harvesting platform data
• using automated tools to extract platform information
• copying analytics dashboards or operational datasets
• redistributing Omnika data or content outside the platform.
  

This includes the use of:

• bots
• crawlers
• spiders
• scraping tools
• automated scripts.
  

3.5 Malware and Harmful Code

Users may not upload, transmit, or distribute harmful software or malicious code.

This includes:

• viruses
• trojan horses
• Ransomware
• worms
• malicious scripts
• spyware.
  

You must not attempt to introduce malicious code into the Omnika platform or its integrations.

3.6 Reverse Engineering and Platform Replication

You may not attempt to access or copy the underlying technology of the platform.

Prohibited activities include:

• reverse engineering the software
• decompiling or disassembling platform code
• attempting to access source code
• building competing products using Omnika infrastructure.
  

3.7 Abuse or Harassment

Users may not use the platform to:

• harass or threaten individuals
• abuse support staff or other users
• distribute defamatory or harmful content.

Professional and respectful conduct is required when interacting with Omnika support teams.

3.8 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

You may not use Omnika to distribute:

• spam
• unsolicited commercial messages
• mass marketing messages without consent
• chain letters or phishing campaigns.
  

Any use of the platform to conduct unsolicited mass messaging campaigns is strictly prohibited.

3.9 Illegal or Offensive Content

Users may not upload or transmit content that:

• violates intellectual property rights
• promotes illegal activity
• contains defamatory material
• contains sexually explicit or exploitative material
• involves exploitation of minors
• promotes violence or harm.
